It’s been a pleasure and an honor to work along with staff from such leading institutions as: Natural England (NE); Marine Science Scotland (MSS); Joint Nature Conservancy Council (JNC); BirdWatch Ireland (BWI); Agence des Aires Marines Protégées (AAMP); Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO); Centre de la Mer Biarritz (CMB); Sociedad Española de Ornitología (SEO); Sociedade Portuguesa para o Estudo das Aves (SPEA); Direcção Geral de Recursos Naturais, Segurança e Serviços Marítimos (DGRNSSM); Centro de Pesquisa e Reabilitação de Animais Marinhos (CPRAM) and Birdlife International (BLI) in the preparation of the application of the SEABird project.

The SEABird (Safeguarding the Environment of the Atlantic for Birds) project was subbmitted to the Interreg Atlantic Area Program 2014-2020 (2016 call). Its main objective was to improve the conservation status of iconic seabirds across the Atlantic Area; safeguarding them for future generations.
